Silver Birch Care (Residential Services) was established to provide high quality accommodation, care, and support to children and young people aged 8-18 years old with complex needs and challenging behaviour within the London area.
We are a family run business operating alongside our well-established sister providers Silver Birch Care offering 16+ supported living accommodation, and The Beeches offering Ofsted and CQC registered accommodation, and educational services via their on-site independent special school. They work in partnership with 37 local authorities and county councils, and also provide direct services to HM Government Home Office. They are recognised as providers of choice to so many local authorities who trust that they will achieve positive outcomes for the children and young people placed in their care.
At Silver Birch Care (Residential Services) we are able to draw on the extensive knowledge and experience of our sister providers to deliver high quality care. Children will also benefit from maintaining familiar relationships and consistent support as they progress into adulthood, and smoothly transition into 16+ supported living accommodation at Silver Birch Care.
Our Mission
We treat children in our care as though they were a valued member of our own families.
Our mission is to provide an outstanding level of care to children in a safe and warm environment that’s as close to family life as possible.
We do this whilst promoting independence, choice, and individuality, to help them acquire the practical life skills they need to live as independently as able.
We aim to:
Put children at the centre of everything we do through holistic and relationship centred practice, so that they can realise their full potential.
Help children develop the ability to create and sustain meaningful and trusting relationships with others; providing them with interpersonal skills which can then be transferred on to other relationships now and in later life.
Safeguard children from harm, and help them learn how to keep themselves safe.
Create environments that contribute to children feeling valued and respected, and support positive mental health.
Referrals Process
From the point of referral, we will work in partnership with local authorities, stakeholders, and the child themself to identify the most suitable placement in order to fully meet their needs, and provide the most appropriate level of support. We can offer bespoke packages to meet the needs of all children.
